It's About Time!

I am aware that this may seem scattered, but this is how my mind works. I like to start a bunch of tasks or projects and don't always finish them for a while (e.g. I started the post for day 2 of the honeymoon, but got annoyed with having to fight the photo uploads, so it's sitting there unpublished). So, I thought I would back up a bit and show you a few pictures from the wedding.

Backing up a bit more:
Josh proposed on Christmas Eve 2008, with a gorgeous tanzanite ring that he picked out without any help from me. He laughed at me because the first thing I said when I saw it was "It's too big!!" It did not fit on my finger so I wore it on a chain around my neck until we could get it sized. I love it, and have since gotten used to wearing such a "big" ring.

Finally! It's been 7 years! Oh, and Go Ducks! ;0)

This day had been a long time in coming, and we were both excited to get it over with. I know that sounds bad, but neither of us love to be the center of attention, and we mainly wanted to celebrate and enjoy spending time with our family and friends! We hired the wonderful Michael Jones to photograph us on the day of, and he was quite helpful with the preparations and keeping us on schedule. He even bustled the train on my dress!

All of my lovely bridesmaids and I had just finished getting our hair and make up done when Michael and his assistant showed up, so the first shot they got was of Kylie going crazy watching the U.S. vs. Ghana World Cup game.

I love this photo, because no one was overly emotional about anything...except for Kylie. She was jumping up and down, yelling, and texting friends over this game while everyone else went about their business getting ready. You became a source of entertainment, and I love you for it cuz! ;0)

The lovely florist even went above and beyond for me, placing the orchid I wanted in my hair after the stylist had gone.

The flower bouquets were phenomenal, I absolutely loved them.

Meanwhile, Josh took some photos with his family:
Terri, Josh, David and Nick Young

His groomsmen were dressed and ready to go downstairs, so they took some photos too:

I have no idea what is going on here, but I LOVE it!
At this point, I was trying to climb into my dress...
Here goes nothing...
Remind me why the hair and make up get done first??
A collective effort, thanks chicas!
Back to the guys:
Kinda gangsta...Matt Maxson, Nick Young, Josh Young, Troy Garner, Dominic Sibell
Probably my favorite solo of Josh
We got a visit from miss Brianna, my niece and one of the flower girls :)
I guess us girls came downstairs while the guys were in the lobby, so they literally got shoved into the bar. Time to have a few drinks then, I guess. Darn!

Hellooo!
Julie Randall, Kylie Garner, Haely Young, Jackie Nakahara, Roxanna Watrous
Yup, I wanted to do a jump shot. Thanks to my girls for being such troopers!
We also took some family shots:
Jenn, Bri, Tyler, Dolly (Nanny), Me, Dennis (Dad), Dominick, Alicia and Troy
Debra Kuhn (Mom) and me
The girls got a break for a bit while we took some solo shots of me in the main hall of the lodge. Two of my favorites:

The groomsmen were still stuck in the bar:
Salud!
Miss Genevieve Maxson, the other flower girl, waiting for her chance to walk down the aisle :)
Time to get this show on the road!
The ring bearer, Mr. Dominick Garner

It's official, kiss the bride!

Walkin' back to Huey Louis' "Power of Love"
We had no idea they were going to serve us champagne!
More wedding party shots:

Where are our hands??
Yeah, this was posed, but so completely us

Thanks to everyone who helped, supported and shared our wedding day with us, we love you!
